Stevie Biondi presents “The Black-Pop-List“: Afro-American classics, from jazz to blues, from soul to funk …and more!
From jazz standards and the more popular bossa nova, from classic blues to the most famous songs and artists of soul music and R&B of the 60s, 70s and 80s as Bill Withers, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Earth, Wind & Fire, George Benson and Donny Hathaway, without forgetting pop from all eras: the Beatles and Pharrell Williams.
Stevie Biondi, or Stefano Fabio Ranno, grew up in a family of musicians: his grandmother, Tina Adolfi, was a theater singer and sang also for the EIAR (the future RAI, Italian public television); his father, aka Stefano Biondi, was a songwriter and his brother Mario Biondi is an international singer, songwriter, arranger and producer.
Stevie began his public performance career at an early age: as a boy he was dedicated to hip-hop and R&B, he wrote lyrics and composed instrumental pieces, later on he started working on various rock-pop projects. Growing up he made of his passion for music his profession: he started singing in clubs and participating both as chorister and soloist during his brother’s concerts. He appears on the best stages of Italy (Verona Arena, Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome, Auditorium of the Lingotto in Turin, Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa, Teatro degli Arcimboldi, Teatro Augusteo Naples, Teatro Petruzzelli of Bari, etc …) side by side with great musicians – Lorenzo Tucci, Claudio Filippini, Daniele Scannapieco, Tommaso Scannapieco, Giovanni Amato etc. Simultaneously to the duets he continues to do with Mario Biondi, he participates as a chorister in many concerts and in some national radio and TV programs, such as SuperMax on Rai Radio 2, London Live 2.0 on Rai 2, “Quelli che il calcio” conducted by Nicola Savino on RAI-2.
