Get Me High is the new project of Chiara Gallana, known as Aba, an aka assigned by Elio (from the group Elio e le Storie Tese) who accompanied her as a mentor up to the final concert of X Factor 2013, when she performed a duet with Mario Biondi at the Mediolanum Forum.
Playing with a band of five excellent musicians, Aba offers a concert of classic blues and soul including those songs that have accompanied her during X Factor and some live previews of the tracks of her new album (released in September 2016). A concert that goes from intimate blues atmospheres to contemporary African-American music.
Aba arrived fourth at the most important Italian song contest in 2013, where she out stood for her warm and powerful voice and strong stage presence.
Chiara began studying voice and piano in 2002, aged 14, and after having trod different stages and having participated in many concerts, in 2013 she took part in X Factor. After that, television collaborations grew: Aba took part in “ Un posto al Sole”; she sang with the group “Elio e le Storie Tese” in the the program “RaiDue Il Musichione”; with Claudio Lippi and Jose Maria Sciutto she has been member of the jury at the competition “La Canzone di noi” on TV2000; she has been a regular guest of the Sunday broadcast on RaiUno within the musical program “Ancora Volare” and she has worked alongside Maurizio Crozza in “Crozza nel paese delle meraviglie” on La7.
Aba has worked with many important artists, among them Mario Biondi, Elio e le Storie Tese, Jermaine Paul, Cece Rogers, Giorgia, Luca Tommassini, Zibba and others singing on the biggest Italian stages as the Mediolanum Forum and the Blue Note in Milan, the Bravo Cafe in Bologna, the Q club in Padova, the Politeama Theater in Genova, the Auditorium Music Park in Rome and many others. She also sang at the opening of the European Youth Games in Bratislava (Slovakia) and of the resort n .1 in the world, the Mulia Bali (Indonesia).
After two years of concerts and television, Aba dedicated herself to writing her first album of original songs and she is now engaged in the presentation of the new single Get Me High, an uptempo funk blues song in publication on June 17 2016.
