Heloisa Lourenço & Paolo Andriolo Quartetto Brasilis: a miscellaneous of jazz, samba and latin music but also of original and rearranged covers of international pieces by famous Brazilian musicians and composers such as Ary Barroso, Gilberto Gil and many others.
The band has already played in many festivals and numerous theaters, among which we must mention the Fête de la Musique (Paris, France), Africa Festival (Wurzburg, Germany), Festival de Percussion (Conakry, Guinea) and Mamounia (Marrakech, Marocco).
Heloisa “Luma” Lourenço was born in São Paulo do Brazil, but it’s in France she started to sing in 1991 next to Loalwa Braz in the group Kaoma and with the world music band Tupi Nago.
Now settled in Paris, Heloisa has worked during the past years with Manu Dibango in club and theaters of the French capital, from Blue Note to Divan Du Monde and Bataclan.
Paolo Vianello, keyboard player, pianist, music arranger and teacher, is an eclectic artist, active in several musical fields: jazz, pop and brazilian.
Among his last projects there is “Venezia Suona Big Band”. In March 2008, he started playing in the Sergio Caputo group and in 2012 he started a collaboration with Ornella Vanoni taking part to the shows “Piccolo Concerto” and “Un filo di trucco, un filo di tacco” in Italy, Switzerland, Canada and New York.
During Summer 2015 he took part, as keyboard player and pianist, in the production of Sugar “La Dolce Vita” with the symphonic orchestra “Toscanini” from Parma and the “Roma Sinfonietta” conducted by Steven Mercurio.
Paolo Andriolo, active in the music scene for over 30 years, lives between Italy and Brazil. He has had many collaborations with both Italian and international artists, including: Pitura Freska, Alan Sorrenti, Patrizia Laquidara, Gilberto Gil, Eumir Deodato and many others.
Maurizio Maranto, drummer, in 1984 accompanied Aldo Tagliapietra (Le Orme) on tour. In 1986 he moved to São Paulo where he plays and works with música popular brasileira musicians from all over the country. He also played in the São Paulo Symphony Orchestra in the 500th anniversary of Brazil.
Maurizio conducts the percussion section of the youth orchestra in the cultural project “Barracoēs da Cidade” by Itapecerica da Serra, where he is a professor and instructor.
